Sell Up was started by father and stepson team, Max and Michael. Both understand the property market and the realities behind a quick sale.

Max Klineberg

Founder and Managing Director

Max has spent over a decade working in the property buying industry, including with one of the UK’s largest cash buying companies.

He started Sell Up after seeing first-hand how often customer experience was overlooked. His focus has always been simple, to treat people properly, communicate clearly, and make the process feel manageable at what is often a stressful time.

Outside of work, Max spends his time with his young family and getting out into the countryside whenever he can.

Michael Michaelson

Founder and Property Director

Michael brings decades of experience across finance and property, including buying, selling, developing and renovating both residential and commercial properties.

He has particular experience working with more complex or dilapidated properties, where a straightforward sale isn’t always possible through the open market.

Known for his calm, practical approach and strong relationships, Michael plays a key role in ensuring each sale is handled properly from start to finish.

Outside of work, he’s a lifelong Leeds United supporter and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
